Happiness Assembly/Presentation A presentation aimed at Early Years and Key Stage 1 children about being a superhero and spreading happiness and smiles. The presentation explains that we all have a superpower and that superpower is making people smile. The presentation asks children to think about how they can make people smile and provides some ideas for how we can spread happiness. The presentation could be used as an assembly or during a PSHE discussion or lesson. The children will enjoy believing that they are a superhero and using their superpowers. Emotions Assembly/Presentation A presentation about emotions, what they are and how we can recognise and control them. This presentation can be used as an assembly or during a PSHE discussion or lesson about emotions. The PowerPoint includes questions for children to think about and answer. Can be used to help children to understand that everybody experiences positive and negative emotions and how we can deal with these emotions. Aimed at Early Years and Key Stage 1 children.

Positive Quotes and Affirmations Posters A set of 16 positive quotes and affirmations posters. These posters include positive quotes and positive affirmations to encourage children to see themselves and talk about themselves in a positive manner. The posters can be printed and laminated and displayed in the classroom either as a whole set or they could be displayed one or two at a time and changed regularly. Positive Affirmations Sentence Starter Cards A set of 16 positive affirmation sentence starter cards. These cards include positive affirmations such as I am caring because and I am brave because. Each card starts with I am and children have to complete the sentence. The cards encourage children to talk about themselves in a positive manner. The cards can be printed and laminated or displayed in the classroom or can be viewed on the interactive whiteboard. Children can choose a card to respond to or all children can respond to the same card. Aimed at Early Years and Key Stage 1 children but could also be used with Key Stage 2 children

Classroom Behaviours Powerpoint and Worksheets A powerpoint focussing on classroom behaviours. This powerpoint can be used as an assembly or during a PSHCE lesson. The powerpoint encourages children to think about positive classroom behaviours and gives examples of what positive classroom behaviours look like. There are also 3 worksheets for the children to complete as a follow up to an assembly or during a PSHCE lesson. The worksheets cover creating a poster, identifying positive classroom behaviours and making a pledge to yourself to try to be better at one of the classroom behaviours. Classroom Behaviour Chart A classroom behaviour chart for teachers to use to spot positive behaviours. The chart includes 8 positive classroom behaviours, these behaviours are - excellent attitude fantastic lining up superb effort brilliant tidying wonderful kindness good listening super sitting beautiful manners There is also a set of alien name tags. The children can choose the colour alien that they would like and their name can be added. When the children are spotted displaying one of the positive behaviours they can add their alien name tag to that picture on the chart. The chart encourages children to engage in the positive behaviours and children enjoy having their name on the chart and being praised for their positive behaviour. Classroom Behaviour Certificates A set of 8 classroom behaviour certificates for teachers to use when they spot a pupil displaying one of the positive behaviours linked to the Classroom Behaviour Chart. The certificates encourage children to engage in the positive behaviours and children enjoy being praised for their positive behaviour. Spot a Friend Behaviour Cards A set of classroom behaviour cards to be used in the classroom for children to spot other classmates who are displaying positive behaviours. The whole class can be given the same card so that all children are looking out for the same behaviour or they can have a mixture of cards so that they are looking out for different behaviours. I hand these cards out in the morning and we talk about the behaviours that we are going to be spotting and the children keep the card on their desk throughout the day and when they spot another child displaying the behaviour then they write that child’s name on the card. At the end of the day we then share the cards and celebrate those children who have been spotted doing the right thing. These cards encourage children to think about and look out for positive behaviours whilst also engaging in positive behaviours themselves. Aimed at Early Years and Key Stage One children.
